5 Ways to Make Your Workout Easier

Working out isn’t always the easiest thing to do in the world. There are plenty of days where I have a million other things to do but I force myself to work out because I know it’s good for me. Even when I am working out, I am thinking of all of the things on my to-do list. Other days I am pumped and ready to work out but just feel like blahhh during my workout and it’s hard to finish.

Here are 5 things I do to make my workouts easier!

Have a Great Playlist

If you don’t have music blasting how can you even stretch?! I need the beat pumping to get my blood pumping. Make yourself a great workout playlist that is ready to go at any given time so you don’t spend 20 minutes trying to decide on a song. Set it and forget it!

Workout Buddy

Working out with one of your best girlfriends is seriously the best. You help hold each other accountable and you will probably get an ab workout too from laughing so much. In my experience, it’s best to add on a little chatting time ;)

Water

Drink water! Keep your energy up by drinking plenty of water. As we work out, our bodies sweat to try and cool us down. We have to replace that water loss quickly so that we do not get dehydrated.

Eat

Ya gotta eat! No matter when you workout, morning, noon, or night, you have to make sure you have something in your stomach, ideally protein. That blahhh feeling usually comes from not eating the correct things and then trying to burn off whatever your body is fighting to hold on to.

Reward

Who doesn’t love a good bribe?! Write down your goal, whether it be weight loss, muscle gain, etc., and have it in front of you while you work out. Then imagine how amazing it is going to feel once you reach that goal! Visualize yourself confidently walking around in that little black dress! Heck, BUY the little black dress and look at it before you go to the gym or work out!

 

Working out should be a part of your daily routine. By following my 5 tips above, it will be easier for you to get motivated!
